Glade Creek Mill

Glade Creek Grist Mill, Babcock State Park, West Virginia

Glade Creek mill is a working mill. On weekends visitors can purchase fresh ground corn meal and buckwheat flour. The mill, completed in 1975, was created by combining parts and pieces from three mills that once dotted West Virginia. The basic structure came from Stoney Creek Grist Mill dating back to 1890. It was dismantled and moved piece by piece to its present location in Babcock State Park.

West Virginia has so much to offer, especially in the fall. It was all that I had anticipated and then some!
