Frankford United Methodist Church Majestic

Frankford United Methodist Church, Frankford, West Virginia

The Frankford United Methodist Church has had a long, continuous history. First established in 1790 then destroyed by fire, the congregation constructed a new building in 1896. (It is interesting to note that the logs/lumber for the new church came from land behind my brother-in-law's sister and husband's house. An explosion at the sawmill fatally injured two or three of their relatives while sawing lumber for the new church.)

Upon arriving at the church, I was immediately aware of this beautiful, colorful tree alongside the majestic steeple reaching toward heaven. Equally inspired by the design of the steeple, I could not resist.
