| Bailey Lake, Petit Jean State Park near Morrilton,
Arkansas What a fantastic place to explore. I could hardly put my camera back in the bag. The thing that impressed me greatly was the profuse number of lilies growing in Bailey Lake. I so wanted to rent a paddle boat and get out in the middle of them. However, the boat rental facility closed for the season just a few days before. On the morning we were leaving I decided to walk down by the lake one more time. I noticed two lilies close together. Just as I was ready to press the shutter button, the bloom on one fell into the water. I thought, okay, a single bloom will do even if it is looking the other way. |
