| Kansas Sunflower I, Hays, Kansas In 2008, a friend commissioned me to photograph sunflowers for her dining area. I looked everywhere for good sunflower material but to no avail. Then going down I-70 just the other side of Hays, Kansas I spotted a whole field of them. My husband pulled the motor home off the road and away I went. Suddenly, I noticed a stinging sensation on my arm. I looked down and saw several sweat bees. Sometimes photographers will do anything to get that perfect shot! |
