| Arches National Park, Moab, Utah After a wonderful day of touring Arches taking pictures, we decided to take a back road out of the park. My husband thought it would be a shortcut to our campground. Well it was a shortcut all right. We were in a Ford Ranger and it wasn't 4-wheel drive either. We got to a point where there was only a rocky surface and I said to him, "Art, where is the road?" Just beyond this point, we were getting concerned because the sun was going down. We were in the middle of nowhere when I saw this glorious sunset. Of course I couldn't resist and likewise, there was no traffic so we stopped in the middle of the path. It was such a breathtaking moment. Oh and we made it out of there just fine. |
