| Mossy Cave Trail, Northeastern Bryce Canyon,
near Tropic, Utah The Mossy Cave Trail in the northeastern portion of Bryce Canyon National Park has a creek running through it. I read that early pioneers dug a ditch that took 3 years to complete so they could have a constant source of water. It is the only hike in Bryce that parallels a waterway. As we explored this diverse area I noticed a rock formation sitting high on a steep hill. I attempted to climb the hill and could only get part way up. As you might guess, I couldn't get close enough to capture what I really wanted. When my husband saw me struggling he offered to help me get closer. He took my hand and up the hill we went. You can't beat good teamwork! |
