| Park Avenue, Arches National Park, Moab,
Utah In John F. Hoffman's Illustrated Guide to Arches he states, "Park Avenue is a narrow canyon with high, sheer walls suggestive of a city street lined by tall buildings." The name "Park Avenue" references the height of the rocks being as tall as skyscrapers like the ones that line the famous street, Park Avenue in New York City. These imposing spires carved by nature did indeed remind me of tall skyscrapers. |
