| Turret Arch, Arches National Park, Moab,
Utah Turret Arch or The Turret as I call it reminds me somewhat of a fortress with its double openings. I had a lot of fun with this one. I hiked all around it photographing it from all angles. Then I saw these two young men perched on a rock on the other side of the arch from where I took this image. My thought was that perhaps I could capture part of North Window and The Turret at the same time. Thus I decided to try it. It was an awkward climb and they were kind enough to help me both going and coming. I like a little adventure now and then even though that particular vantage point did not work for me! This one did and it was easier. |
